All you do is defend their decision under the assertion that homosexuality is wrong. The real issue here is that they have once again proven their antiquated, bigoted thinking that continually "others" a group of good, innocent people who have constantly been spat upon because they have the audacity to love a consenting adult of the same sex.<br /><br />No one really gives a shit about the fact that children of gay kids can't be Mormons until they're 18, because trying to find a kid who would want to join a "church" that disparages their entire family is about as common as finding a unicorn.<br /><br />The real problem is that the church has once again proven itself as a force of anti-progressive thought under the guise of "persecuted righteousness" and the fact that they have the NERVE to consider themselves "attacked" over this when they're the ones kicking an entire group is disgusting.<br /><br />"had the courage to do what the Lord directed them to do to protect His Church, rather than take the 'easy way out' and do nothing."<br /><br />I'm sure every other group that has oppressed others considered themselves courageous too, even though everyone else saw them as jackasses.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
