trea-son [tree-zuhn] (noun) A violation of allegiance to... one's state.  The betrayal of a trust or confidence; breach of faith; treachery.

 

Barack Hussain Obama committed such an act of treason against the citizens of the United States of America, and against the United States of America itself, on 11 Sept 2012.  Befitting every known applicable definition of the word, President Barack Hussein Obama is guilty of violating his allegiance to the United States of America, of betraying our trust and confidence, breaching our faith, and general treachery.  "Treachery" means, literally, "A violation of faith; (a) betrayal of trust; treason.  An act of perfidy, faithlessness, or treason."

 

Being informed 48-72 hours beforehand that serious attacks were planned on the consulate in Benghazi, Libya, Obama and his administration, for reasons that are not known at this time, refused to grant requests from his own Department of State to increase security at the consulate preparatory to these attacks.  This was not an oversight.  It was not a communique that "slipped through the cracks."  It was not "inadvertantly ignored."

 

It was flatly denied.  It was intentionally refused.  And no one is saying 'Why?"

 

Once the attacks began, the White House Situation Room was informed within 2 hours of the attack that it was a terrorist action, and shortly thereafter, the White House was informed who had claimed responsibility for it.  2 hours after the attacks began. 

And yet, for 14 days, President Barack Hussein Obama intentionally and deliberately lied to the American people, and compelled those who answered to him to lie as well, such as U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice (who reports only to the President of the United States).  President Obama himself lied repeatedly during a U.N. address about the attack, and on subsequent interviews.

 

In contrast to the White House, Libyan citizens without the benefit of high-tech, high-speed, high-security intel communiques, seemed to know within hours after the attack precisely who was responsible.   The enraged crowd (who loved Ambassador Stevens), marched en mass, unarmed, to the compound of the group that (unbeknownst to them) had claimed responsibility for the attack, and burned it to the ground.

 

Curiously, a Predator Drone had been ordered (by unknown authority) in advance of the attack to provide surveillance over the Benghazi Consulate, even though this was not a normal drone assignment for the area.  The drone was conveniently staged and deployed to provide real-time video of the unfolding events.  In advance. 

 

Reports that are breaking now indicate that Ambassador Stevens was in Libya at this time to facilitate a massive, secret, highly illegal gun-running operation intended to provide weapons to Islamic Radical Extremists in both Libya and Syria, who were reportedly fighting in opposition to the Assad regime.  This operation reportedly is roughly 100x larger than the "Fast & Furious" operation.  It is not known at this time if these weapons were used against the Consulate in the attack.  It is assumed that they were.

 

As the attack unfolded, it has been confirmed that President Barack Hussein Obama was, indeed, present at the White House and was aware of the unfolding attack.  Both audio and video of the attack were streamed into the Situation Room, in real-time.  It is assumed that President Obama and his advisors watched, in real-time, as the sovereign U.S. soil, the Consulate compound, was burned to the ground, and Ambassador Stevens and the other CIA personnel there were raped, murdered in cold blood, and their desecrated bodies were dragged through the streets of Benghazi.  The CIA agents held off the attackers in a bloody firefight that lasted over 7 hours, and in which over 80 insurgents were killed by 3 CIA operatives who were holed up in a "safe house," fighting for their lives.

 

President Barack Hussein Obama watched it all unfold in realtime. 

 

Life-saving help was available.  The murders were avoidable.  The "Cavalry" was only 45 minutes away.  A "Quick Response Team" of Rangers and Seals were based 45 minutes away across the Mediterranean in Sicily.  But they were not summoned.  Intentionally.  It would have only taken a phone call.  All the President of the United States would have had to say was "Get the QRT in there."  He didn't.  They were never called at any point during the 7-hour attack.

 

Instead, after watching American citizens be raped, murdered, and dragged through the streets, our consulate burned to the ground during an event that our government knew was going to happen, watching in realtime from a drone that was carefully placed to provide said realtime coverage in advance, and after refusing to send in reinforcements to possibly save their lives... the President went to bed.  He had a big day ahead.  Shortly thereafter, He flew off to Las Vegas for a fund-raiser.

 

At the memorial service, the President of the United States, after watching and witnessing first-hand the murder of American personnel... would not even look the father of one of the victims in the eye.  He looked past the father, mumbled a very insincere "sorry," and turned away.  He had other things to do.  Of course, Vice President Biden was in stellar form, striding up to the father and boisterously asking (with his trademark toothy smile), "How long as your son had balls the size of cue balls."

 

It is my belief that the President of the United States is guilty of conspiracy to commit murder.  It is my belief that the murders of these particular individuals were deliberate as part of a cover-up of a Middle-East gun-running scheme that was on the verge of, or was in danger of, coming to public light during this crucial stage of the Presidential election.  If that had been allowed to happen, it would have meant that not only would the President not be re-elected, but he might have faced criminal charges as well.  As would many in his administration.

 

That Team Obama would resort to murder under the guize of a "terrorist attack" to cover up an illegal and politically damning operation such as this is entirely plausable.  As Team Obama has repeatedly stressed through the shrieking antics of Susan Wasserman-Schultz and others, lying and deception are acceptable strategies "if it gets the message out."  With ethics like this, it is not a stretch to expand that to more serious and sinister actions, if it protects the President.

 

Never in the history of this country have we faced a situation this evil and this treacherous.  This is treason.  It should be dealt with as such.

 

It is my belief that the President of the United States of America, Barack Hussein Obama, has committed treason.

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton ordered additional security for the U.S. mission in Benghazi ahead of the terrorist attack but the orders were never carried out, according to “legal counsel” to Clinton who spoke to best-selling author Ed Klein. Those same sources also say former President Bill Clinton has been “urging” his wife to release official State Department documents that prove she called for additional security at the compound in Libya, which would almost certainly result in President Obama losing the election.

Today we learn from sources that not only did Hillary ask for added security, and was denied, but her closest advisers strongly suggested she seek legal counsel just days after the attack. Why? Why did “they” deny Hillary’s requests for added security to Benghazi, and why is this a situation in which a Secretary of State would need personal legal counsel? Could the Benghazi fallout, go beyond what a Public Relations firm can handle? I’d say YES. Could this be a criminal act, negligence, dereliction of duty, which resulted in murder? I’d say YES. And I’d say that Hillary is telling the truth as the “source” of these latest developments come straight from her “legal counsel”. Hillary did prior to September 11th, 2012 order added security for Benghazi, and those requests were denied—but by who?

Assuming that both of these accounts are true (and I have no reason to believe that they are not), it certainly begs the question as to why Hillary fell on her own sword and took responsibility for the Libyan attack some time afterwards?

Was she trying to protect the President, who was fervently throwing both the State Dept and the Intelligence community under the bus? 

And why did she retain personal legal counsel?  Was it the legal counsel who advised her to stop trying to cover for her boss, because this scandal has serious criminal negligence charges written all over it?

Really.  Enquiring minds want to know.

Pure, Unadulterated Outrage.

I'm so upset, that I actually started to get emotional when I was talking to a 7-11 clerk who had a copy of our local newspaper on the counter, with the front page story of additional details on Libya coming out.   I don't usually get emotional with 7-11 clerks, so this was a real departure for me.  :)

 The clerk, a 20-something young man, wondered aloud what the article was all about, and so I told him.

 

His eyes grew wide with disbelief.

 

I explained that our President had not only lied repeatedly about the cause of the attack on our consulate in Libya, and that he had ordered others to lie as well, hoping that the truth would never come out.   The truth was too damaging to the President's re-election campaign.

I explained to this young man that we know now that the President... OUR President... WATCHED in REAL TIME as our Embassador was murdered, raped, and dragged through the streets of Benghazi... and DID NOTHING through it all... even though our Quick Response troops were 45 minutes away... while our courageous people fought for their very lives against overwhelming odds for over 7 hours... and ultimately lost.

I explained to him that our President... our Commander in Chief... OUR President... then WENT TO BED, because he had a FUND-RAISER IN LAS VEGAS THE NEXT DAY. After doing nothing. After witnessing, in real time, our own people being murdered, raped, and dragged through the streets.   After witnessing this horrendous act, after witnessing these murders... he yawned and "turned in."

As I was explaining this all to him, the full weight of the horrendousness of this situation hit me with full force, and I had to blink back tears. This was OUR President. No matter what our political differences are, or were... this was OUR President.  A man who we TRUSTED first and foremost to put aside politics and do what's right for our country... to defend US... from all enemies foreign and domestic. To avenge our wrongs.  To seek justice for those who so brazenly attacked us.  And he did NOTHING. But lie, order others to lie, and try to cover his own ass for political gain.

 

I explained to him that the bigger scandal behind this was a massive gun-running operation, which was why Stevens was in Libya in the first place... OUR President was gun-running to an extent that FAR eclipsed "Fast & Furious."  Behind the backs of the American people.  And apparently has been doing it for some time.  Selling arms to Islamic radicals, ostensibly to arm Islamic radical extremeists in both Libya and Syria, who were supposedly fighting against Assad.  It is those arms, and those dangerous radicals, that came full circle to take the lives of our people in Benghazi.

I'm beyond outraged. This President is a traitor to the American people. He not only doesn't deserve re-election, he deserves to be impeached, and held criminally accountable for his cowardly and selfish actions... and inactions.

 

We can only hope that America shakes off the stupor of this election's petty "tit-for-tat" quibbling, and wake up to what is really happening within the walls of the Oval Office.

I really wish I were drawing again.  This campaign is more target-rich than the Monica Lewinsky scandal, for which I earned a place in "Best Editorial Cartoons of 1999." 

Our President is getting desperate.  Dogged by mounting failures that he can no longer effectively blame on Bush, Obama is looking tired and haggard.  And desperate.  Did I say desperate?

One need not be a "Birther" to see that this emporer has no clothes.  The multiple layers of sealed records relating to his past should long ago have been properly vetted and disclosed... yet the mainstream media has consistently, steadfastly refused as they had... and have... a vested interest in their "darling" to remain unsullied by the rigors of the kind of thorough investigation they have reserved for anyone running against him.  He is their "perfect President."  A Liberal.  And a Socialist.

Hardly a day goes by anymore that I don't stare in amazement at some new revelation (none by the mainstream media, in case you're wondering) that details another jaw-dropping failure or even borderline treasonous act on his part.

Let's see... the doctor who risked his life to help the U.S. capture Bin Laden has been left for dead by this administration... the doctor was recently arrested and tried for treason, found "guilty," and sentenced to 30 years in prison.  By those that we are repeatedly told are our "allies."  And our President does nothing.  Our Secretary of State does nothing.  There is no outrage, no sabre-rattling.  There is nothing but silence.  Our President is a coward.

We also learned recently that the White House approved the leakage of sensitive mission data on the Bin Laden rescue, placing SEAL team lives at risk, as well as the success of the mission... all so that Kathryn Bigelow could make a glorified campaign propaganda piece that deliberately highlights the "gutsy action" of the White House in ordering the raid on Bin Laden... set to be released (I know NONE of you will see the ulterior motive here), in November... right before the national election.  Apparently, Bin Laden (and SEAL Team 6) weren't as important to Obama as a glitsy 11th hour campaign tool.

This President refuses to put his hand over his heart before the flag, or when he does, places it on the other side of his body... that is when he's not agreeing with his wife, Michelle, when she whispers "All this for a damn flag!"  To which he responds, "I know, right?"

This President unabashedly embraces Socialism.  This president does not understand basic math or economics.  This President has no qualms about selling the entire country out to China.  This President will do, or say, anything to get re-elected.  This President sees nothing wrong with Communism.  This President is more than willing to sacrifice the future of our children... and our country... on the altar of his own political ambition.

Now, in order to straighten deck chairs on the Titanic, the President is supporting same-sex marriage.  Let's see how far he's willing to go, and how many of his own previously-stated principles he's willing to flip-flop on to gain the GLTB vote. 

I've never been more disgusted by a sitting President in all the years I've been following politics.  Even Clinton's "I did not have sexual relations with that woman" doesn't come close to the massive failure that we've seen from Obama.

Enough is enough.

One of my very good, very gay, long-time friends recently posted two very moving video clips from celebrities who rightfully decry and condemn the bullying that recently led to the suicides of  four different teens in this country.  They accurately reflect that there are probably many more that we don't know about.  And then, in an irony that one would have to be in a parallel universe to ignore, they turned right around and did precisely the same thing that they are condemning in the first place... bullying.  The main difference seems to be NOT that bullying itself is wrong, but that the "wrong group" is doing the bullying.

There has long been a glaring double-standard in the LGBT community.  Every argument, every issue, every cause, every nuance of the interaction between the LGBT community and... well... the other 98+% of us... is colored by the rationalization that if you are gay, anything you do or say, no matter how hateful, factually incorrect, bullying, hurtful, unjust, outrageous, dishonest, disingenuous or inappropriate is gleefully acceptable, justified, and even rational.  And if you're not gay, well, you're a bigotted hater.  End of discussion.  And, unfortunately, end of dialogue... and tolerance...  as well.

When I was young, I grew up during the last agonal breaths of the Cold War.  And one of the things I remember learning about was the Soviet Union's practice of spreading "disinformation."  This practice involved the intentional skewing of the truth to make something appear different than it really was.  It was a tool, artfully and skillfully used, to sway public opinion by the painting of one ideology with dark, hateful and condemning brushstrokes, while painting the opposite position with bright, sunny colors and cheerful accolades..

Unfortunately, this practice is alive and well in the LGBT community.

Take Kathy Griffin's video clip condemning the recent suicides, for example.  Not content at condemning the actual bullies who caused these young people to take their lives, her rant quickly turned into a wholesale condemnation of anyone who "voted for Proposition 8."  She's "not a lesbian," she intones with a straight face... "but she plays one on TV."  Yes, she actually said that.   And she was serious.  Apparently that gives her the right and authority to wield the logical fallacy of Moral Consequences like a wrecking ball.

This attempt at disinformation tries to leverage the emotional collateral of a "hot" issue like "suicide-from-hateful-bullying" into massive LGBT political hay, by not-so-subtly attempting to emotionally tie heartless anti-gay bullies with anyone who believes that marriage should be between a man and a woman...  a completely different issue... but one which is at the heart of the LGBT agenda.

Kathy Griffin, not content to merely make a passing reference, continued to reinforce this ridiculous association by actually declaring that anyone "who supported Proposition 8 has blood on their hands."  Seriously???!!!  Such comparisons are obscene.  And such attempts to paint anyone who disagrees with the LGBT agenda as a hateful, murderous bully should be deeply embarrassing to the LGBT community... as was her skewing of the actual demographics of the LGBT population in the U.S., which she stated was "10-12%," but which the U.S. Census places at just .5% (2005 American Community Survey, U.S. Census Bureau).


These impassioned pleas by celebrities such as Cindy Lauper and Kathy Griffin, while noble and moving, are nothing more than tired old Soviet propaganda, and proof positive that the LGBT movement is not only blind to the depth and breadth of its' own hypocrisy, but that it simply doesn't care... freely sacrificing its own credibility on the altar of desperation.

When any minority "movement" rationalizes the righteousness or nobility of their ideology or lifestyle to the point where there are no boundaries, where no holds are barred, where no action is inappropriate or unjustified, where no lie is too egregious... where even violence is encouraged...  when the "movement" will be content with nothing more or less than the forcing, if necessary, of it's principles and beliefs on the majority... the "cause" has ceased to be a "cause."  It has become an Opposing Force.  It has become an Enemy of the People.  It has become a threat to the very fabric of our society.  It has become dangerous.

The very principles of tolerance, patience and acceptance that are plied so deftly and frequently by the LGBT community to urge the majority to allow them to quietly assimilate into society unopposed, are routinely turned and used as weapons of hate and violence against anyone, and any thing, that gets in their way.  If the LGBT community truly wants open, refreshingly honest, and straightforward dialogue.. they need to walk the walk, and not just talk the talk.  They need to drop the embarrassing bullying tactics, the wholesale rabid-dog attacks on anyone who dares to stand up for an opposing point of view, and ACT like they truly believe in tolerance and love of their fellow man and respect for the differences of others.  They need to SHOW us that they are willing to respect OUR right to disagree with their ideology and lifestyle, without vilifying us in the process for no other reason than that our beliefs differ from theirs.

The bottom line, which seems to be totally lost on our LGBT brothers and sisters, is that tolerance is a two-way street.  You cannot demand it on one hand, and refuse to extend it on the other.  And until that message is embraced by every single member of the LGBT community, there will continue to be strife, contention, and opposition.

"But I DESERVE Whatever I Want!"

I was sitting in the First Aid Station at King's Dominion Amusement Park last night, desperately trying to coax the clock into moving faster so that I could go home.  I'm a park Medic there, and was the only ALS provider on duty, so I couldn't scoot out early.  With my luck, even though the most serious patient I had was an employee who somehow managed to staple his palm, it would be my luck to have some hapless soul choose to have their "Big One" about 10 minutes after I walked out the gate, and I'd get in trouble.  So I passed the time by reading an interesting article in an arcane EMS magazine that someone had left behind... it was titled "Ambulance Abuse."  It immediately grabbed my attention.

The article was written by a physician who was commenting on a mindset or mentality that we seem to encounter on an alarmingly more frequent basis... both in the medical field, and in life in general.  And anyone who has spent any time on an ambulance, a fire engine, or in a hospital ER knows that there are people out there... and an unnervingly large number of them... who seriously, earnestly, believe that they are "owed" something by society. Or the gub'ment.  In fact, everything.  Whatever they want.  You see, they are "entitled."

These people stub their toe, or run out of a prescription, or don't feel like taking a taxi to a doctor's appointment, or just want a ride across town, or think they'll get to bypass the 2-3 hour wait at their local ER, all by calling 9-1-1, and requesting that a $250,000 piece of equipment scream to their domicile, lights and siren, placing crew and citizens alike at extreme risk, because... well... they can.  They're "entitled."

I can't tell you how many homes I've pulled up on to find the "patient" standing at the curb with their bag packed.  Or sitting in their living room, too absorbed watching "Wheel of Fortune" (and yes, they would thank you to please SHUT THE HECK UP until the show's over, thankyouverymuch) to even tell you what's wrong.  Or wait until they're at Day 7 of the 10-Day Flu to call you because they're annoyed at still being sick... in the middle of a hurricane, with rain coming down in sheets... sideways.  It's "no big thang."  They're entitled, you see.  These people can have 14 perfectly functional cars sitting in their driveway/yard, with a dozen able-bodied family members standing around, all of which are perfectly capable of driving Ms. Stubbed Toe to the ER or Doc-In-A-Box, but the thought literally never crosses their mind.  Why?  They're "entitled."

Unfortunately, all too often this means that Mr. Innocent-Patient-Who-*IS*-Having-The-Big-One is going to die, because the $250,000 piece of equipment, and the highly skilled, highly educated minds who know how to use it, are 20 minutes away, out of service, taking Ms. Stubbed-Toe-Entitlement, all comfy-cozy, with LOTS of attention, to the ER  all the way across town (which she is promptly going to walk out of in an Oscar-worthy snit when she finds out they're just gonna send her to the lobby anyway).

Oy.  What have we done to create this monster?  And better yet, how do we put this very ugly Genie back into it's "teeeeeny tiny living space"?  Many ideas abound.  The author of the article I read suggested making some personal payment mandatory... that even a modest charge would discourage system abusers from taking advantage of the system... and charging the fee to their cell phone... which is more likely to get paid than a normal bill.  But I can just hear the backlash from the Entitlement Brigade now.  "But I pays my taxes, I DESERVE this... I'm ENTITLED to you bein' here whenever I call, for WHATEVER I call for... b@$%#."

Still other remedies involve putting more paramedics on the street to "screen" patients in Community Medic roles, effectively putting them in a combination role of ad hoc primary care provider and social worker... making "frequent fliers" their only responsibility... making sure, for instance, their prescriptions are filled, and that they have proper referrals to health care agencies, and transportation to their doctor's appointments.  Washington D.C. just implemented this, putting 30 more paramedics on the street in an effort to stem the rising tide of entitlement-driven "frequent flyer" calls that overload and tax almost all EMS agencies in the country. 

Will either of these be the ultimate Magical Solution?  Of course not.  Until we address the actual cause of the Entitlement Syndrome, all of this is straightening deck chairs on the Titanic.  It's high time the pseudo-religious, who will call an ambulance for a sniffle, but who show up faithfully at church every Sunday, to dust off their Bibles, use them for something other than doorstops, and take the time to seriously look at the Bible's teachings on idleness and sloth.  More realistically, it's high time that families... moms and dads... kick in, and teach their children the precious (and all but extinct) ideals of personal responsibility, accountability, self-sufficiency, and LAWDY LAWDY, the ultimate profanity of the Entitlement Set, "hard work."   Our grandfather's adage of "There is no free lunch" has been replaced with today's "like HECK there isn't, and I'll take fries with that."

Our society is teeming with the Terminally Lazy, and careening toward the potentially prophetic societal vision of WALL*E.. where humans are reduced to great non-ambulatory quivering blobs of flesh, unable to and unaccustomed to moving because someone else is doing it all for them.  How do we stop this train before its' too late?  Teaching the value of good ole'-fashioned elbow grease at home.  And lots of it.
